The darling of Melbourne’s accommodation scene – The Hotel Lindrum
This boutique hotel consisting of 59 chic rooms is located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD and has recently had a makeover by the guys at Bates Smart Architects – the team are also responsible for Melbourne iconic Federation Square and Sydney’s Rockpool Bar.
The refreshed rooms have a colour palette of champignon, taupe and crisp white which perfectly compliments the generous feeling of space in each of the rooms.
Stylish new features include the ‘Philosophy’ desk lamp by Tigger Hall Design that sits atop discreet workstations and Kravet’s ‘Grass Cloth’ wallpaper adding an element of texture to the overall design.
Never ones to ignore their heritage – the soaring high ceilings and charming wooden floor boards hark back to the hotel’s former life as Melbourne’s famed Lindrum Billiard Centre.
The team at Hotel Lindrum take your nights sleep very seriously and in order to ensure you have the best rest possible they have updated all the rooms with the latest five-star Accor bed which has been hand stitched locally in Victoria.
If that wasn’t enough – new custom-made mattresses and bespoke bed heads dressed in silk chenille finish of the room with elegant sophistication.
Appelles Apothecary amenities using certified organic Australian ingredients have also been introduced into the bathrooms.
